Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint

We were last here over two years ago (thanks, Mary). Yes, BBQ is a Southern tradition - therefore, "ethnic" in my opinion.

This will be a late Sunday meetup which will allow for travel time or for those who live close. Order extra for lunch the next day and make your coworkers jealous!

Martin's BBQ Joint has been featured on Food Network's ” Diners, Drive-ins & Dives” and in the pages of Epoch Times, Gourmet, and Garden & Gun.

I don't claim to be a BBQ connoisseur, but people who do are pretty high on the place. I know what I like and I like Martin’s. Their most famous dish is the Redneck Taco. Garden & Gun put it on their list of “100 Southern Foods You Absolutely Must Try”.

This is a walk up counter to order, then seat yourself, the food will come out when ready. Order as you arrive and join us for some great conversation...

Check out the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives video here.

The new Belmont location is an easy walk from my house, so I went to the grand opening on St. Patrick's Day ... it was excellent! I had the redneck taco with beef brisket and it's a dish I highly recommend -- not cheap at $10 but plenty of food and well worth it.

FYI, the Belmont shop opens tomorrow. It's going to be a madhouse.
