Have dinner, conversation and your favorite beer (or beverage of your choice) with other skeptics from Bellingham and beyond!

We do have an ice breaker - we could read (click on link below) an article in last October's edition of "The Atlantic" by Yuval Noah Harari, titled "Why Technology Favors Tyranny". Not that we ever need an ice breaker!

https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/10/yuval-noah-harari-technology-tyranny/568330/

Otherwise, we will continue discussion on Yuval's three books, "SAPIENS - A Brief History of Humankind, Homo Deus & 21 Lessons for the 21st Century- If you have future suggestion, bring up at end of meeting or email me at [masked]!

You do not need to read the article above, nor have these books to participate in discussion. Our discussion will broaden out to any timely topic that is on each of our mind. Starter topic is just an ice breaker. Those who have or started to read the book may have the first shot in starting our conversation.

We have the "quiet" room reserved for every meeting through the end of this year! But remember, we may need to cancel if there are less than 8 RSVP's a few day before the meeting, so be sure to say "yes" to attending if you think you might show. You can always go back and change to "no" if near the date you change your mind.
