Hello and welcome to Friday Night Tennis! Please take a moment to review the RSVP Guidelines for the 2019 season:
NO SHOWS: No Shows and Late Cancels prevent other members from playing and create organizing difficulties for the host. If you cannot attend a Meetup, please change your RSVP to No not later than 2 hours before start time. Attendees who are 30 minutes late or RSVP less than 2 hours before start are marked as a No Show and will be contacted by the host/organizer. Meetup event comments do not change your RSVP.
MINIMUM 3.0 LEVEL OF PLAY: Meetups are for players who can maintain doubles games, participate in drills, and know the rules and scoring of tennis. This is equivalent to a USTA 3.0 rating level (or higher). If you are not sure of your rating, please check the USTA guidelines prior to signing up for the Meetup: https://assets.usta.com/assets/1/15/ExperiencedGuidelines_02142011_V2pdf.pdf.
BE A CONTRIBUTOR!: Contributions ($20 suggestion) to What’s the Racket go towards the fees that Meetup charges to operate this group, tennis balls for group contributors, and occasional special events. All group organizers and hosts are volunteers. Follow the link below:
NON-CONTRIBUTORS: Group members who have not contributed to What’s the Racket should bring a can of tennis balls to each Meetup.
