Announcing a new Meetup for The Wheeling Jaycees (Volunteer/Leadership/Networking Group)!

What: Beer Brew & Learn (Phase I)

When: February 8,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Have you ever wanted to brew your own beer or learn more about the brewing process? Want to experience first hand how grains, hops, and water can come together and become the delicous beer we know and love?

Come join us on Sunday, February 8th at 1:30pm at The Olbur House for Phase I of the brewing process (Phase II will take place February 24th at 7:30pm)

We'll begin with a little history of brewing and details about the necessary ingredients. Then together we'll go step-by-step through the process of brewing.

As a bonus....during the 1 hour that the brew (known as wort at this point) is cooking on the stove we will have a hands on training regarding the Springboard and Degrees program in which we will get paperwork filled out and submitted using events over the last year and jumpstart you toward your various levels of degrees.

This is an exciting opportunity for everyone. Please join us and bring a friend!

By the way, there's a rule in Germany that when you brew beer you must drink beer. So this is a BYOB training if you would like. Snacks and other refreshments are also encouraged and welcomed.

Raise a pint! Cheers!
