Dinner at Bar Gitano restaurant 1902 Ashford Avenue .Bar Gitano is a popular Tapas Bar in the Condado Area just across from the San Juan Marriott Hotel; its exposed brick and wood work and hanging Spanish art pieces are reminiscent of local bars in Spain.Recently, Paco De Juan owner of Bar Gitano along with Executive Chef Carlos Vazquez have introduced a new menu that includes new and exciting tapas dishes, salads and desserts.

Day 2 Sunday May 27 11 am Bacardi Rum Tasting Tour Guests will be able to learn in Rum tasting class about the attributes of the finest rums within the Bacardí portfolio. In our mixology class guests will learn how to prepare our legendary cocktails. Visit our gift shop and find an array of Bacardí Rums, souvenirs and collectibles. Enjoy the view of Old San Juan from a pavilion that’s shaped like a bat, or just sit back and relax within our lounge and savour our new culinary delights. You will find out why Tourists have made Bacardí a must see when they visit Puerto Rico. 1 1/2 hour

5 pm Salsa Dancing Class n a small group, you will be guided through the first steps of Salsa dance, so you are ready to hit the dance floor! This is a 1 hour class tailored for beginners. At the end of the class, you will be able to dance the basic steps and turns with ease and fun. 1 hour

4 pm Sunset Walk and Taste Tour of San Juan with Spoon Food Tours

Discover the magic of Old San Juan on our sunset walking food tour. Come hungry and ready for a fun-filled evening with your epicurean guide. You’ll eat and drink your way through our colorful city while learning all about its culture, history, people and everyday life.

You’ll sample both traditional and modern fare, tasting up to 10 different items and 2 rum cocktails. We provide generous portions so you’ll be full by the end.

This boutique tour is kept small in number to ensure that you don’t get tourist trapped. You will enjoy the full attention of the guides and walk away with the best advice of what to eat, see, and do throughout the course of your stay. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends and/or family, you’ll soon see why a food tour is one of the best things to do in Puerto Rico. 3 hours

Day 4 Tusesday May 29th 11: 30 - 2:30 Flavors of Puerto Rico Cooking Class Let’s get cooking!

We’ve teamed up with The Atelier at Cocina Abierta to offer classes that provide an authentic “hands on” Puerto Rican cooking experience. The Atelier is an interactive space for the development and enjoyment of what we love: food, wine and spirits. It’s the meeting point where culinary enthusiasts come together to explore the world through it’s gastronomy {Eat.Drink.Learn}.

Your class includes a professional private chef, tastings of prepared dishes, educational literature, top of the line cooking equipment and ingredients. You will receive a brief lesson on Puerto Rican history while you learn to prepare 3 traditional Puerto Rican dishes – an appetizer, a main course and a dessert. The idea is that you have fun learning new recipes, that you can easily replicate at home.

This particular class is well-suited for beginners and intermediate cooks, food enthusiasts and anyone wanting to learn about Puerto Rico’s cuisine in an interactive way. The class is sure to be an unforgettable highlight of your vacation! 3 hours

5 pm Old San Juan Sunset Sail. Float past hundreds of years of history and picturesque scenery during this 2-hour sunset sailing excursion in Old San Juan Harbor. Climb aboard the "Amazing Grace," a topsail schooner fashioned in the style of 19th-century American sailing vessels, for an unforgettable ride past the wonders of this historic area. As you sail you’ll enjoy up-close views of Old San Juan sights like El Morro fortress, La Fortaleza, Paseo la Princesa and more, all set aglow by the fading late afternoon light. A guide and complimentary beverages and snacks are all covered. Note: Restaurant Week and/or the SOFO Old San Juan Food Festival may be taking place with lots of suggestions for dinners on your own.

Price Package $1405 per person based on double occupancy and air from Atlanta. We can arrange flights from all other US cities. Prices for events are subject to change until entire trip is paid for. Airfare and hotel prices are subject to change until deposit is made.
