In blockchain, real technical feedback and learning can be hard to find. That doesn’t stop developers, designers, hackers, and builders from making projects, it just means they are not able to iterate as quickly. That’s why we launched this forum.
We host a weekly meetup for builders and researchers to get feedback on their projects, protocol findings, dApps, research, and community ideas. The format is casual and lightly structured as the community feedback is the real advantage.
Some of our past events have included whiteboard presentations on: - How Lightning works and where there are opportunities and challenges - How to actively participate in the Livepeer ecosystem (no dev or hardware required) - How Snarks work - Challenges to 2/3 voting mechanisms - Demos of new projects, including a decentralized exchange, non-fungible platform, learning platform for solidity, and becoming a validator on a network
How it works: 1. A few participants share what they've recently learned, built or researched 2. Open forum for questions, discussion, and feedback 3. Ask for support, intros, advice, input
It's a simple process that becomes powerful with a strong community. The events get better will the more diverse perspectives in the room so we welcome builders of all sorts - developers, designers, product managers, financial, legal and beyond. We hope you'll join us whether you're a blockchain technology newbie or an OG.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
PS- We focus on the potential of blockchain technology and it's applications. We do not spend time discussing trading strategies, cryptocurrency prices, buying/pitching ICOs, or arbitrage opportunities. If you are looking for a group that focuses on the latter, this is not the meetup for you.
