Festive Walk & Parisian Lunch

  • to
  • Bond Street Station

    London, W1K 5JN (map)

    51.513874 -0.149337

  • Meet at 11.30am outside Bond Street Tube next to the Dorothy Perkins Store.
  • Start January With This Warming Day Out. £36 members, £39 non-members.

Your event ticket includes a walking tour hosted by a Blue Badge Guide (Diane Burstein) and a 2-course meal at a 1930s-style grand Parisian brasserie (you can purchase drinks on the day). This event will be around 4 hours long.

In the morning Diane will introduce you to other Who Londoners, but this tour is open to all ages.

Behind the hustle and bustle of the season and sales in our major shopping streets you will find some tranquil courtyards and lanes which are the best decorated at this time of year. Admire these festive decorations and learn the history of some fascinating byways and streets from picturesque Lancashire Court to the rejuvenated streets behind Regent Street, where everyone will enjoy a warming 2-course lunch at the magnificent Brasserie Zedel.

There is nowhere quite like Brasserie Zedel in London. The only part of the historic Regent Palace Hotel designed by Henry Tanner to be preserved in the Beaux Arts style, this venue was described by top food critic Jay Rayner as “a love letter to the classic Parisian brasserie”, and the huge, columned ballroom has been returned to its former glory. Brasserie Zedel is “The only real brasserie in London.” (Pierre Koffmann, French-born chef)

Select between a meat, fish and vegetarian dish plus a choice from three delicious desserts for your lunch:

    MAIN COURSE
Chicken in a Champagne Sauce OR
Fillet of Sea Bream with Artichoke Ragout OR
    Mushroom and Root Vegetable Casserole

    DESSERT
    Lemon Tart OR
Iced Coffee Souffle with Creme Anglaise OR
    Profiteroles with Hot Chocolate Sauce

Please email [masked] following your booking if you have any food intolerances/allergies.

Meet at 11.30am outside Bond Street Tube next to the Dorothy Perkins Store and finish at the Brasserie Zedel near Piccadilly Circus tube. Lunch will be served at 1.30pm and the event finishes after lunch.
