It’s undeniable that a whole-food, plant-based, No-Oil Low-Fat STARCH based diet is great for your health, the animals, and the planet. But let's face it, it can be somewhat difficult and lonely when you're doing it on your own. We're looking for like-minded folks who are interested in how this lifestyle can help them achieve and maintain their healthiest self. Whether you’ve been eating this way for decades, or are brand new and want to learn how best to make the transition, we’d love to have you join us! We’re hosting monthly potlucks as a great way to sample delicious, healthy dishes, share recipes, learn, and connect with others who are in pursuit of optimal health and well-being. We’ll also have other activities and social events like dinners, cooking demos, movie nights, picnics, day hikes, discussions & support to share trials and triumphs, grocery store trips, pantry clean outs, and anything else would be most helpful to those interested. FOR POTLUCKS, please bring a plant-based/vegan dish (NO animal ingredients), with no oil, salt or refined sugar to serve 8-10 along with a copy of your recipe or ingredients list. For those not sure what to bring, here are some suggestions: fresh fruit or raw vegetable tray, steamed or roasted veggies, steamed or roasted potatoes (spices ok on veggies and potatoes, but no oil or butter, please), bottled water or sparkling water. If you’re still unsure, just contact us!
Join us for our next potluck and special guest speaker, Dr. Beth Teran!
