Nonviolent Communication - with Ben Cohen

Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1970s, provides a method for remaining compassionately connected to our own feelings and needs, and the feelings and needs of others. In this workshop you will learn the basic elements of the NVC model. You’ll learn to identify the feelings of upset and the unmet needs that cause those feelings both in yourself and others. Finally, you will learn a healthy and compassionate way to communicate authentically, deepen connection with others, and improve the chances of getting your needs met.

Donation welcome. $10 for presentation only.

Ben Cohen is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga in the Boston area for the past 20 years. He has a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and has
studied Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication model for over a decade.
