Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1970s, provides a method for remaining compassionately connected to our own feelings and needs, and the feelings and needs of others. In this workshop you will learn the basic elements of the NVC model. Although the NVC method offers useful techniques for learning to communicate effectively and compassionately with others to resolve conflict, in this workshop we will focus on using the model in an internal way. Through written exercises and discussion, we will learn to connect with the thoughts, feelings and needs that underlie our judgments of self and others. The process can lead to empathy and a deeper understanding of our judgments that can in turn result in compassion and forgiveness.

Workshop is free, though donations are
welcome. Cost is $10 if you come at 8pm for workshop only.
