About the Film
78% of Americans eat organic food because they think it's healthier. But is organic really better for us or just a marketing scam? In Organic We Trust is an eye-opening food documentary that takes a closer look at the "organic" philosophy and label and gives a view beyond organic for practical solutions for me and you.
Before or after the film, grab lunch, explore the exhibits, and then choose either:
Topics include: Starting Your First Garden, Managing Bugs and Pests without Chemicals, Feeding the Soil, Herb & Container Gardening, Advanced Gardening (Biodynamic Permaculture and Foodscaping), Gardening With Kids --Note: Topics may change. We've provided a description of each class at the bottom of this event listing.
A panel of local experts will discuss the solutions presented in the film. Topics include organizing school and community gardens, better school lunches, and how to buy local.
