Join us in the redwoods for a morning of reconnecting to nature, ourselves, and each other.
I'm excited to co-host this meetup with new Wild Nature Heart facilitator Lorrie Klosterman. Lorrie is a watercolor painter of wild nature, biologist, and author of Animals and Plants of Monterey Bay: Santa Cruz Shoreline.
What to expect:
Together we will do an opening circle, then participate in a solo and a group activity that invites us to connect to our biggest and ecological selves, and so honor our deep belonging in the natural world. Expect poetry as well.
After introductions and an opening exercise, we will do two activities: the first is designed to drop us more fully into our bodies and senses, and the other will drop us deeper into our ecological selves with an exercise drawing on the Council of All Beings co-developed by John Seed and Joanna Macy.
We will end with a gratitude circle.
We'll met Skyline Gate Parking Lot by the water fountain. The redwood grove is half a mile down stream trail east from the parking lot.
