Being in nature offers many gifts to us. We may find calm, wonder, introspection, truth, and lots more. Let's gather to receive, and also to give back to nature!
At 10am we'll head to the redwood grove for a welcoming circle. Then we'll get underway with an activity to deeply notice and enjoy what is right around us in the grove and nearby field. There will be solo time to do this, followed by a group sharing about what we experienced.
Then we'll do an activity to help us look inward, and to discover what form of giving back to nature feels right to each person. A few simple questions will guide that process. We'll share those ideas and inspirations with each other, and find a "next step" that empowers us to fulfill our idea of giving.
A closing ceremony will offer thanks to the natural world and to each other for gathering.
Writing/drawing materials will be provided.
What to bring: water bottle, something to sit on if you wish, a journal if you have one, a rattle or other small instrument, hat and/or sunscreen for our walk to and from the shady grove,.
