Hi Wild Nature Hearts,
It's full moon again!
Together we will do opening introductions, hike up Trinidad Head, hold a small circle, some moments of silence, connecting to the season, the moon, and each other. Maybe howl?
May Full Moon has been referred to as Flower Moon, Milk Moon, Corn Planting Moon (Algonquin), Blossom Moon (Anishanaabe), Frog Moon (Cree), or Moon When the Horses Get Fat (Cheyenne).
Moonrise and sunset are the exact same time, 8:30pm, so I thought we could catch the sunset, then walk up.
Theme: Wholeness and Pacing
Nature is just complete and utterly itself, and tends towards wholeness. Somehow, we sometimes get in the way of our own wholeness--reflect on claiming un-claimed parts of ourselves and embodying fullness. What power/achievement/aspect of ourselves do we want to re-claim/own?
The moon is a reminder of cycles and nature's rhythm. What areas in our life do we honor or not honor our own flow and pace?
We'll meet in the south end of the parking lot near the Trinidad Head Trailhead on Lighthouse Rd. The trail is about 1.3 miles total round-trip. (Note: the location on here says Trinidad State Beach, as that was the closest Meetup had, but we'll be going up the Head)
This is a FREE Gathering
What to bring:
A head lamp/flashlight
Water and a snack.
An earth (or moon!) poem if you have one you like
Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early.
Looking forward to meeting and exploring with you!
