What we're about

Take one part psychology, one part spirituality, one part creativity, and one part adventure, mix them together in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains, and you have the recipe for the Wild Spirits. Are you someone who is passionate about adventure and personal growth? Who craves both internal and external exploration? Who likes to have fun and build authentic connections? If so this group might be for you.

We will be leading meetups that combine these elements, bringing fellow Wild Spirits together to adventure together, grow together, and make memories together. Examples of potential meetups include (but are certainly not limited to): medicine walks, dream groups, full moon hikes, shamanic journeys, drum circles, creative writing circles, camping trips, and a variety of retreats and workshops. Come join us as we explore the human condition in the great outdoors.

Pelvic Restore Yoga:
You are invited to come and explore breathing techniques, and gentle movement that can improve strength, vitality and connection to your pelvic floor.

The Pelvic Floor does not always get attention the way the rest of the body does.

An emphasis on asana, breath, meditation, core work throughout will help you stay centered no matter what life throws your way.

What is Pelvic Restore Yoga with Danielle?
Yoga for your pelvic floor is a gentle Asana practice (appropriate for all levels and genders)

The class will be focused on incorporating core and pelvic awareness throughout the flow.

--------------------------

Did you know?

A muscle is considered dysfunctional whether it is too loose or too tight.

In these classes, we will focus on asanas in which the pelvic muscles can either be relaxed or strengthened to bring health and balance to this area of the body.

Each class will begin with a brief description of the pelvic floor muscles followed by asana practice.

What you will get:
For years, women were taught that to do a Kegel (a.k.a., a pelvic floor exercise), they should squeeze the muscles that activate when you stop the flow of urine.

As for men? They were (and still mostly are) under the impression that pelvic floor work wasn’t necessary.

Both are NOT true!

Learn visualization techniques to find and access the muscles of the pelvic floor

The class is designed to locate, access, soften, stretch, strengthen and exercises various muscles groups of the pelvic floor

Discuss Mula bandha and how to apply it to your asana practice

Increase abdominal health and how to utilize pelvic floor in asana

Why focus 'pelvic floor yoga'?
Proper work of strengthening, stabilizing, stretching and softening the pelvic floor

A strong pelvic floor helps keep the pelvic and abdominal organs as healthy as we age.

But “strong” also means flexible.

It is Danielle’s belief that the pelvis and the pelvic muscles are an underappreciated region of the anatomy.

Important not only for sexuality, but the pelvic muscles are also crucial for optimal functioning of the body.

Every pelvis has a story and if you want to start a conversation with yours join me!

Exploration of Wild Feminine Landscape:

Our feminine bodies need us now more than ever.
A monthly gathering for women to journey deep into the heart of your female body, to the root place, and the center of life itself.

Danielle Petersen, Wild Soul Living wishes to provide a unique gathering for women inspired by one of her teachers,Tami Lynn Kent, author of Wild Feminine.

‘Wild Feminine’ will be the backbone of the course. Each workshop will start with a discussion of a ‘theme’, exercise, creative reflection, journal work and meditation.
____________
The exploration of the Wild Feminine is life-changing!
In this circle we will learn from and inspire one another as we evolve and meet the wild feminine together.

Through stories, visualizations, and creative exercises, the wisdom arising from the female body you will be guided and given tools to nurture, heal, and explore the feminine nature and landscape.

During this massive global shift, we are seeing a return to the feminine.

“You are invited to journey deep into the heart of your female body, to your root place, and to the root of all womanhood. Discover the landscape of the wild feminine. Find the connection between creative energy flow and the core of your body to reclaim the radiance that is rightfully yours”.- Tami Lynn Kent

We meet 1 x per month to explore the female landscape and every month has a new ‘theme’ or focus. Why landscape? The word landscape is rich in meaning and gives the impression of getting to know the distinctive features and qualities of the terrain called feminine.

The intention is to take charge of your physical, spiritual, and creative health by renewing your bodily relationship to the sacred Feminine—this essential connection for building an inspired and joy-filled life.
____________
What you will get?
You will discover a new and dynamic relationship with your female landscape as it becomes guide, gauge and source for vital radiance and well-being.

Danielle will guide you through a combination of pelvic-centered self-care tools – bodywork, energy work, visualizations, and other creative exercises.

It will help you:
Connect to your true power
Deepen your self-care and self-love and self-acceptance
Help you find more balance in your life
Strengthen your self-care practices
Understand how to do your own self-massage
____________
How:
We will meet on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 - 9:00 pm. This is a donation based class. (suggested donation is $10-$30 )

The classes will build upon each other but you don’t need to sign-up for the entire series but you will get more out of the experience if you do.
Each week we will have a review, discussion, and activity to welcome in different aspects of the feminine.

Here is the ‘basic’ structure or ‘themes’ per month:

The Yoni Egg is a tool that facilitates full permission to be and feel all that moves you. Danielle Petersen, owner of Wild Soul Living believes that the Yoni Egg becomes an anchor to reconnect with ourselves, honor ourselves and reawaken our sensuality.

The Yoni Egg is NOT a new fade but we are seeing a resurgence of this ancient Taoist tradition.

The practice has been around for over 5,000 years. The physical benefits range from balancing hormones, reducing PMS, increased libido, to strengthening the pelvic floor.

However, these health benefits are a by-product of the real JUICINESS which goes much deeper...

Women are given a tool that really allows us to get more connected to our POWER SOURCE.

Come to learn more, and if interested join Danielle at her Pelvic Restore yoga class from 6:30 - 7:45 pm.
