What we're about

A hiking group for women (and dogs). Want to hike but don't want to hike alone? Join us! All abilities welcome as long as you are accepting of everyone else's ability. Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a trail runner just understand your own abilities and how they relate to the planned hike. This group is going to be welcoming to beginners so if you are the trailer runner just plan on taking it easy with us.

Dogs are welcome with permission. All dogs must be on a leash, spayed/neutered, and fully vaccinated. Check with the organizer before bringing your dog because some trails may not be dog friendly. Most hikes will be in the Southern Black Hills. Most hikes will be on Sunday afternoons.

If this group is successful I would like to expand to kayaking/canoeing. We may be able to help with equipment when we get to that point.

There will also be some random non-hiking activities. However, it will be about getting out and having fun in the hills.

The main emphasis will be on building a supportive community of women who can explore the hills together.

If you have a suggestion on a hike or activity please suggest to the organizer.

The subscription fee to have this meet-up is $15 a month which has been paid by the organizer. If you would consider chipping in to pay the subscription that is greatly appreciated. You can just talk to the organizer.
