Our supporters are busy gathering seeds and cuttings from their own gardens to bring them along to the Harris Woodbridge Nature Reserve. We'll be selling them off at very low prices to raise some funds to spend on the reserve. So if you've got some super-wildlife-friendly plants in your garden and you're able to gather seeds or take a cutting, please bring them along! There will also be tea and coffee and cake available for a small charge.
This is an opportunity to come and have a look around our very own nature reserve and to spread any beautiful plants you may have, all around Cookham! Don't know how to take a cutting? Search on youtube or ask on our facebook page - different plants need different techniques - but it's not difficult! On the day there'll be several enthusiasts around to give advice and answer questions on wildlife gardening.
If you're driving, please park at the Chequers, a short walk up Dean Lane.
How to find the Harris Woodbridge Nature Reserve:
Off Dean Lane, Cookham Dean – From the Chequers - turn left out of the Chequers, walk down the road until you get to the track just before the house called "Warners", turn left up the track and take the path on the right of the track.
