The Philippines is a nation of over 7000 islands. It is famous for diving, beautiful beaches, and unique animals. But, it is also known for crowded cities and headhunting tribes. Hear what the Philippines are like from travelers who will have just returned. Shyla & Dan will share their experience at this month's Talk Travel.
This is a free event, however, we ask those attending to donate $3 - $5 to cover meetup costs and to buy the speakers a drink. We have reserved a private room at Rogue Eastside. Please order all food/drink at the main bar, and ask for directions to the Barrel Room. It is a little tricky to find. Street parking in the area is free, but limited, so give yourself time to find a spot, or better yet take public transport.
There is limited seating in the room so ONLY RSVP IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND. It is important that I have an accurate headcount. If your plans change after signing up - go to Meetup.com and switch your RSVP. Talk Travels are often super popular and get wait-lists. So no showing is tough on other travelers, the speakers, and the venue. Please be considerate and honor your RSVP.
Photos taken at the event may be used by Shyla & Dan Bare, or Wild Spirit Travel, in social media, websites, or print. They may promote future meetups, travel talks/classes, or general Wild Spirit Travel activities. By attending the event, you give consent to be in photos.
