Is it okay to bring my Labradoodle? We would just be doing the 5.5 miles.

The temp for tomorrow will be 20F or colder. If you wear athletic "moisture wicking" clothes without any insulation over top, you WILL be cold. If you wear one big heavy coat, you WILL start to sweat and then become cold if you stop for a break. Layers are always best. (e.g. base layer+ fleece, jacket to wear when taking a break) Hat and gloves will go a long way as well. As for water, 2 liters should be plenty for the whole hike. It looks like there is a place to fill up with water at the half way point parking area. Any further questions, contact Whitney.

If you don't stop for a long lunch break, you should be done well before 3pm.

I wont be able to make it this time. I'll be teaching a winter course in Eau Claire Saturday. Temps where i'll be camping will be in the negative double digits this weekend. Hope the weather is better for the hike.
