Nature Awareness and Native American Culture for Kids

  • Meet just outside the Visitor Center
  • This is a free walk/program through the National Park Service. Parking is free at this location.

    Take a "Nature Walk" and learn about the plants along with their Native American uses for food, utility and medicine -poisonous plants will be covered as well. We will discuss trail safety, nature awareness, local Native American culture and, if time permits, play some Native American games.

    Appropriate for kids 7 to 97 years old.
