Tin Goose is a game about the early years of commercial air travel. You begin as a regional operation with just an airmail route and a Tin Goose (the Ford Trimotor). Players build an airline empire through the 1930s and 1940s. As the game progresses, planes improve, being safer and having longer range. Companies become more organized and shed their earlier inefficiencies. The stakes of a a disaster, crashes and oil shocks-get higher. Tin Goose is a business game that features a balance between greed and fear, without random events. Please note that the Game Chateau charges a $5.00 fee for the use of their excellent facilities!
The sweep of 3,000 years of Indian history will be at your fingertips in this engaging game of conquest. The time period covered is from the Aryan invasions from the north and ends with the unification under British rule in the 19th century. Your nations migrate, increase in population and attack other nations to increase their power and prestige. Each player will be assigned different nations during the different time periods of the game and the player whose nations have accumulated the largest number of victory points wins. Join us for a day in ancient Rome. We will begin our day at the chariot races! In Circus Maximus you will custom design your own chariot, outfitting it as a light or heavy, choose your horses and their endurance. Get ready for the chariot race scene in Ben Hur. Thundering hooves, attacks on your chariot wheels, horses and even attempted lashes on your person! Decisions on what speed to take the curves will result in gaining the lead or having your chariot flip..on you, the track or even an opponent! This is the premier chariot race game on the market. A three lap race will take approximately 3 hours.In this game your friend is your foe, big time! Our second game of the day will be Liberatores, a game of suspicion and treachery. Players are senators that are part of the Liberatores-secret conspirators of ancient Rome, planning to overthrow Old Julius Caesar and restore democracy (or as least their ideal of democracy) to the Roman Republic. You will use your money to influence events, bribe, endorse others and spy on other households to keep Caesar safe. Will the traitor be found in time? PLEASE NOTE: CIRCUS MAXIMUS CAN HAVE 12 PLAYERS. THE MAGNATES presents the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from its heyday during the 16th century until the collapse of the Country in the 18th century. Players take the role of the Magnates, who seek to develop the power of their families. Each player has a deck of cards that depict the celebrities of his family. Some are capable of great deeds and some will spoil any project with which they are entrusted. Players manage their deck of characters to achieve, in competition, with others, as much as possible during the timeline of the country. The fate of the Union results from the sum of the activities of the most powerful families. If the players fall into a mutual fight for titles and advantages, the republic will fall under the pressure of neighboring powers. Can the homeland be saved from partition?
