Sunrise is at 7:29AM, and the hike up takes about a half hour to an hour, depending on each person's pace.
A great hike close to Eugene that offers a gradual climb, scenic views of the Willamette Valley, along with distant silohuettes of the Three Sisters and Diamond Peak.

Trail Info: The main trail for Mount Pisgah is 3.0 miles round trip and has an elevation gain of 1000'. The trail is somewhat in comparison to Spencer Butte, which is 2.32 miles round trip with 800' of elevation gain.
We will meet at the main trail, next to the gate and kiosk at 6:00AM and leave shortly afterwards. We will hike up together, watch the sunrise, take some pictures at the top, and then head back down. Parking at Mount Pisgah is $4 per car, and an annual permit is available at REI, Bi-Mart, as well as other local outdoor stores. The permit also covers other parks in Lane County. Great purchase if you hike often.
Please dress accordingly and bring water, a snack, and a headlamp. Bring a friend if you would like.
