What we're about

This is a group for busy people who like to walk for exercise but need some motivation to get up and do it! If you are like me, you need walking buddies and a regular walking schedule!

Evening walks are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 PM. We walk at least 3 miles and the time goes by quickly because everyone is talking!

The primary focus is to offer a regimen where we can walk a few miles a couple times a week in a short amount of time. It has turned out to be a very friendly group, so besides getting healthy exercise, we are making new friends and having a great time.

The goal is for all members to enjoy their time walking! If you decide to join you will be asked to agree to a simple code of ethics: be respectful! It means ...please

1) no rude, racist or otherwise inappropriate comments,

2) not using fellow walkers as regular sounding boards for ongoing emotional sagas,

3) no complaining or gossiping about members (report it later to the leader),

4) bring a positive outlook and energy to the group!

Bottom line is, if you are looking for a stress-free hour twice a week to get some great exercise and fresh air, this is a fun and easy place to find it!
