- Free music event with Tommy Odetto
This is someone you won't want to miss hearing play with his band. I saw Tommy Odetto last summer in Napa with friends and this guy really blew us away. Tommy Odetto first got the chills from music as a little boy when he came across Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and The Beatles. As Tommy approached his teens, he discovered guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Deeply inspired, he picked up the guitar and never looked back. A few years later Odetto was a semi-finalist for Guitar Center’s King of the Blues. He was also featured in Guitar Player magazine as an artist to watch. After two successful stints with local bands, in 2016 he decided to pursue his dream of being a frontman. Since the move to fronting his own band, Tommy has been fortunate to be invited to perform at Bottlerock Napa 2018, and has opened for bands like, Chevy Metal, Tommy Castro, Coco Montoya, Y&T, Walter Trout, Uriah Heep, Ace Frehley, Trainwreck with Kyle Gass (Tenacious D), Cheap Trick, Robin Trower, and legendary blues great John Mayall just to name a few. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDMkDcEmPrY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx4Cyjxj-44 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8nGp9L6ja0 Come early to get a seat because I'm sure that it's going to be packed to see this guy play.

- Napa Porchfest 2019 - Free music event in Napa
Mark your calendars and come on out to enjoy live music, friends and beautiful Downtown Napa!! Our annual Porch Festival is a free one day event showcasing NAPA MUSICIANS playing on some of the finest historic porches in town. Mark your calendar, tell your friends, fill your water bottles, grab your beach chairs and slather on the sunscreen. Come on out and roam from porch to porch to hear some really great local music. People stroll from porch to porch with family and friends enjoying the sounds of Napa's musical talent. We heard local bands playing on either someones porch or front yards through out several neighborhoods. I went to this event last year with some friends and had a fantastic time not to be missed. This is a non alcoholic event, but we saw several locals with their concealed drinks walking around the streets. It was hot last year, so I would highly recommend that you bring water. It's a wide open event, so wear comfortable walking shoes and at some point we can meet at Fuller Park. There will be several food trucks there and we can enjoy something to eat and hear some good music. I'm going to update this event the closer it gets to the date so check back for updated details. https://napaporchfest.org/
- 23rd Annual Sonoma City Party - free event
The Sonoma City Council and City of Sonoma is delighted to present the 23rd Annual Sonoma City Party. The City of Sonoma hosts this community party to bring our local community together for fun, festivities and to celebrate our special town. A long standing tradition, this unique event celebrates the rich history of Sonoma, its residents, businesses and non-profits. The event is free to attend and will be held at the Sonoma Plaza. I went to this event last year and had a great time with several friends. Come early, because it gets very crowded and space is highly fought over. I'm planing on getting there around 4pm to get a highly sought after spot on the grass. So, please come early. Expect the whole town of Sonoma to be there, so it's going to be very crowded. Bring along your picnic blankets, folding camp tables and chairs, picnic supplies, warm clothing, a flashlight, dancing shoes and you’re all set! I'll set up a blanket and chair on the north side of the city hall building across the street from the Sonoma Cheese factory on W Spain Street.
