Well, it’s possible, (but we don’t recommend it). What we do recommend is you come to our next wine tasting on Tuesday 18 June from 19:00 – 21:00 at a new shop called Wine Touch, located at 61 rue Quincampoix in the 4th, (near the Pomidou Centre). Here, you will find an open tasting of up to 80 bottles of wine that are vacuum-sealed in card-operated self-serve units, which give you the flexibility to choose which wines you want to try and how much you’re willing to spend. You’ll recognize the concept if you’ve ever been to Wine by One.
The tastes come in 3 sizes, (3 cl, 6 cl or 12 cl), so this is an opportunity to try some rare or pricey wines that you might not normally order by the bottle. We will provide sauccison, cheese and bread to nibble on and we’ll share what we know about the wine tasting regions of France and answer any questions you have.
This is an informal gathering and the cost is 10 Euros per-person, payable at the door but reservations are required as space is limited.
Thanks to everyone who came to Sean’s meetup last week. He was great as always and there was something for everyone to learn about champagne!
See you soon!
