Do you love mountain biking? Are you looking for someone to ride with? The Triad Mountain Bike Group is a group of beginner, intermediate, and novice mountain bikers that like to ride the local mountain bike trails here in the Triad.

Our group is diverse in that we welcome not only new beginner riders, but also riders who are more experienced and love riding with others in a group setting. Our mountain bike rides are not a race. We enjoy riding at a casual pace that everyone in the group is comfortable pedaling. We always start together as a group, the experienced riders will lead us through the trail system but we will normally stop, wait on the slower riders, re group, and start again. All rides are no drop rides unless otherwise noted!

Local Mountain Bike Trails:

·  Tanglewood Park - Clemmons

·  Hobby Park – Winston Salem

·  Salem Lake – Winston Salem

·  Horizon Park – Winston Salem

·  Bur-Mill / Owls Roost - Greensboro

·  Country Park – Greensboro

·  OVT – Wilksboro

·  Dark Mountain – Wilksboro

·  Warrior Creek – Wilksboro

·  Moore’s Springs Trail – Westfield

·  Lake Norman State Park – Toutman

Ride At Your Own Rick; remember safety comes first. We will not be held accountable for any accidents or injures that may occur during any of these rides.

For every ride you must wear a Helmet.

We strongly encourage that you carry ample amounts of water, nutritional items, and emergency repair kit as needed for trail riding. Please make sure your mountain bike is in good working order and you have the proper clothing for mountain biking.

By signing up for the Triad Mountain Bike Group announcements, and/or coming out to a Triad Mountain Bike Group ride – you are agreeing that mountain biking is dangerous, and that the Triad Mountain Bike Group ride leaders are not to be held responsible for your safety or the actions of other riders.
