Let's talk about rescue of the three girls was called a "miracle"; by dolts only

One can only wonder why those three girls/young women were allowed to remain captives and sexually assaulted, raped, chained and tied and impregnated with attendant miscarriages and no medical assistance when any number of churches, as well as a great many true and devoted "believers" were in the area; why no "word of wisdom" to neighbors from their "Invisible Friend"?  Lots of prayers to be sure that clearly went unanswered and then some of the dolts claimed is was a *^@#_*^"miracle"!  Why's that???????????

So, to summarize, "He" allows 10-years of abuse and captivity and then gets the credit for freeing them??????????????  WTF!!!!???????

Let's talk about it.

We didn't have but 5 attendees and the subject matter strayed from the intended, but a good time was had by all nonetheless. We welcomed Angela, it was good to see you as well, and she was a vital part of the discussion group.

Angela, I spoke to the others and they really enjoyed your contribution to the group discussion and are anticipating your return.

Sounds to me that the true miracle would have been those girls not having to suffer so...

I don't think Gods will is all that great of an explanation. Was it Gods will that these girls get brutalized to serve a higher purpose? I think no. Is it Gods will that some babies are born addicted to crack? Not much of a benevolent being if he/she/it means for these terrible things to happen to innocents. The truth is, that life is not fair and sometimes it downright sucks. It is a disconnect with logic to say that bad things happen to teach people lessons. The world can be an ugly place, lets not delude ourselves that evil deeds were somehow meant to be!

Crapstians like to dream of being "up there" where ever that is, and looking down into their personal version of hell and watching sinners ( a concept and word created to satisfy some religious kook) suffering for eternity while they relax and have everything done for them also for eternity. I wonder if they can wrap their heads around infinity; probably not.

I will try to make it this Sunday, and I am excited to meet and ask questions. If I don't show, you will know I couldn't get my party ready in time...

Michael Waltrip was/is the prime example of the typical NASCAR idiot driver. When Earnheart worked the Daytona 500 in such a way as to allow his teammate Waltrip to win his first Daytona 500 race and then crashed in the last turn on the last lap, Michael went on to the checkered fag while Dale, after refusing to wear a head and neck restraint device died as a result; his spine was ripped from the base of his skull when he hit the turn 4 outside wall.

When Waltrip was celebrating on the podium he said, and I watched/heard him declare, "This is the day that God has made". Those of us in the TV audience already knew what Waltrip didn',t that his mentor and team owner died as a result of not having a HANRS device. I wanted to ask Michael which part did the great invisible omnipotence make? Was he, she, or it too busy making the day for his first win and in so doing missed keeping Dale alive; stupid is as stupid acts or says one must suppose; nope, you can't fix stupid.

Believers always attribute ANYTHING good as coming from "God" which is as ridiculous as the notion he exists since science has explained that meteors and earthquakes and storms are not "God being angry, or demons" etc.
Reminds me of the dorks who "thank God" after they win a competition (not explaining why other believers didn't win or why atheists do sometimes) but don't blame him when they lose.

I don't see anything wrong with being grateful for something you feel you couldn't do on your own, I just try to express that gratitude to the beings in my life I am certain are real.

My son Kevin, one of Kevin's Brit friends, his son Jordan, daughter Hannah, her squeeze Caleb and yours truly attended the Nov 2012 US F1 GP at the brand spanking new Circuit of the Americas just west of downtown Austin, one could see the skyline. It seemed God, who, according to most NASCAR people, rides in every race. However, the picky, invisible friend of all NASCAR nut cases only rides in the winning car. He must not like F! racing the crowd or at least the drivers as no one, especially the winner, Brit Lewis Hamilton expressed gratitude for his victory to the Great Invisible One; could it be the tiny, glove-like fit in an F1 car has no room even for an invisible friend?
