  • Pop Culture-inspired Meet Up and Write

    The House of Seven Gables

It's November--and that means it's NaNoWriMo! National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. Learn more about the challenge and launch your novel at nanowrimo.org. Join us whether you are participating in NaNoWriMo or not. We will meet, introduce ourselves, and then write as much as we can in two hours, then spend an hour (or so) sharing our writing (sharing optional!). We hope to inspire you with a pop culture-inspired writing prompt aligning with the House of Seven Gables' theme for 2019. Expect a couple word sprints (10-minute speed writing!) and a productive time with fellow writers. This event is FREE for all members of this group. Please sign in at the front desk.
