What we're about
This group is open to all* whether you are curious about mindfulness, feeling stressed out, or wanting to support an ongoing mindfulness practice. This meetup is organised by Guildford Meditation:
The weekly sessions are facilitated by trained mindfulness teachers and are comprised of a mixture of guided meditations, group discussion and short talks. Our intention is for the group to be open and accessible to all. The content is non-religious (all faiths are welcome) and we have chosen a venue located just 5 minutes walk from Woking train station.
*Attendee Suitability Guidelines:
Meditation and Mindfulness are suitable for most participants; however these practices may not be suitable for those with certain pre-existing mental health conditions. Please note that this group is not suitable for people actively experiencing substance dependence, PTSD, psychosis or suicidal thoughts. If you suffer from any existing mental health conditions, please check with your doctor or specialist before coming along. In addition, please inform us of any physical, emotional or mental health issues which could affect your participation in the group via email or phone before the session. All information given will be treated in strictest confidence. Please also note that attendees must be at least 16 years age.
