If you would like to take home bow and arrow making materials, costs will range from $5-$65 per item depending on type, size, quality of materials which will be tagged with prices/descriptions to help you decide what to start the working with. However, you don’t need to purchase any materials if you just want to work through the bow and/or arrow making steps to simply learn during the workshop.

Please note that this workshop focuses on how to make a “self-bow” and arrows that are good enough for hunting large game, but there are many varieties of more advanced bow-making techniques that cannot be covered in one day, such as sinew-backing, recurving, and much more. Special Workshop Instructions
Please prepare as you normally would for a hike, including lunch, water bottle, 10 essentials, etc. However, please be aware that sparks from the campfire can melt your synthetic clothing, so wool might be a good option.
