Have you ever wondered how to make beautiful leather traditionally, and how to honor animal hides with a plethora of uses? Today, we’ll honor animal hides by making sure none go to waste. We’ll demonstrate how to scrape them clean, shape some into parfleche drums and other rawhide tools, plus share an ancient egg recipe to convert a hide into tanned buckskin leather!
Adults as well as families with children are invited. Expect a class that provides you with generous information, hands-on experiential learning, and heart-felt inspiration. Cost is $30 per person in advance, or $35 at the door if space remains available. This class is also being offered on June 30th in Puyallup, and July 14th in Olympia.
Refunds offered if:
Additional notes: Strict 24 hour refund policy for these classes, as they entail copious preparation on the part of instructors. Thanks!
