Wolf Pack MTB is an organization of MTB cyclists that enjoy mountain biking at the many superb trail systems in the Colorado Springs area. If you mountain bike and would like company while enjoying the sport of cycling then check us out. Since we are going riding anyway, we'd like to give you an opportunity to join in and have some fun, ride new trails or share your favorites and meet fellow mountain biking enthusiasts. Our goal is to ride all four seasons to stay conditioned all year 'round. We do “Urban Trail” rides locally occasionally and when weather, especially mud, keep us off the single track. We also go night riding when the days are short in winter. Our most often ridden trail system is Palmer Park, but we try to hit all the fun loops in our area over the course of a year. Wolf Pack MTB is a great way to find riders similar to your ability. Most of our singletrack experiences are 5 to 25 miles in distance and 1 to 5 hours in duration. This is a growing dynamic group with members often setting up rides among themselves and not all rides will be published on this page.

If you are new to mountain biking or it has been a while since you've been on your bike, pay special attention to the ride description and feel free to contact an organizer for advice/information on our upcoming rides. We like to help those looking to improve their skill/fitness level. Wolf Pack MTB recognizes we do not all ride at the same pace or skill level, so our policy is "no rider left behind" unless specifically mentioned in ride description. We adjust our rides as needed, within reason, to accommodate all riders so everyone can enjoy this great sport!

All riders must wear a helmet and have adequate hydration for the ride, and it is highly recommended to carry a spare tube, a pump (or air cartridges), a simple tool and first aid kit.

Difficulty/Description: Rides will vary technically and aerobically. The pace is determined by the ride leader based on the cyclists participating. We will do our best to give you an understanding of what to expect for terrain/distance/time, etc. so you can make the best decision as to the options best fitting your abilities. We encourage the suggestion of rides that interest you and fit your schedule.

The unfortunate but necessary DISCLAIMER... In case you are unaware, mountain biking on roads and trails has inherent risks. This includes potential INJURY and even DEATH, from cars, trees, the ground, other riders, dehydration, hypothermia, heat exhaustion, mechanical failures, and so forth. Your involvement in group activities indicates you understand these risks and acknowledge YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for your health and well being while participating in pre/during/post ride activities related to this group.

Jersey's update on the Re-order

Hi All - Just trying to wrap up the jersey re-order. For those of you that would like a jersey of either style please let me know by tonight. Call or text me with your size and style. I will place the order and then collect the money. [masked]. ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Later this week or early next week we will open the online Primal store for orders of a new Wolf Pack style jersey. The art work will be the same but the gray will be replaced with royal blue. Only the Nexas style will be available, (zippered, three pocket). If you would like one of those jerseys you will be able to go to the online store and order them directly. To save on shipping costs I will have them delivered to one location. Stand by for more details.

Please read entire description: Let's get out and get hungry for that Thanksgiving feast. Social pace, plan on a fun time. Depending on who signs up and conditions planning on 2-3 hours of RRCOS awesome trail system. I'll know more about the weather as we get closer to ride time. Check back periodically for updates to this ride. We are meeting at the east end of main parking lot at the bottom of the freeride area. Be ready to ride by posted time. Helmets are required.

ORPHAN'S THANKSGIVING, 2020!!!

The lovely and gracious Liz has offered to host an "Orphan's Thanksgiving"! In a Charles Dickensesque tradition, we would like to invite all those that would otherwise be contemplating the local truck stop or dinner to join us for this best of all meals as well as general good fellowship! Liz has briefly outlined the following: 1. Dinner at 4:30 (arrive early for football...? 2. Please bring a dish to share that is traditional for your family (be prepared to tell us the story) 3. Massive post meal pictionary game 4. Seats at the table (Tops 14) so tell us early if you are coming and how many.. (We hope to leave no one out but it is a question of room and logistics. 2020-2021 Hut Trip is on!

Needs a location

Social isolation will not go on for ever and the[masked] Hut Trip is on! We gave first dibs to the folks who helped us with winning the Hut lottery. So, after they committed we have 6 slots remaining for a total of 12 spaces. The trip is for December 31 thru January 2 (two nights). We had to pay for the hut up front so we are asking you to pay now if interested in joining us. For those who committed to go and haven’t paid the reservation fee it would be awesome if you would 😊. The total cost per person for a weekend of fun is $94 per person. You can Zelle liz or contact her at[masked] for other options.
