What we're about
WomanSpeak is where women learn the art & soul of public speaking. WomanSpeak Circles consist of local, ongoing, bi-monthly public speaking gatherings. WomanSpeak Circles are designed to offer places for consistent practice. Why? Because consistency of practice is the key to becoming a powerful and effective public speaker.
The members of a WomanSpeak Circle can come, whenever they wish, to practice and deepen their own artistry of standing up and speaking their truth, speak on panels, tell spellbinding stories, give mini-talks. Women learn how to speak confidently in front of anyone.
Imagine a transformational Toastmasters for women that has a rockin’ fun & supportive community and a lot of emphasis on speaking authentically, effectively, and from the heart.
One of the best parts about WomanSpeak is that when you invest in a WomanSpeak program, a portion of your initiation fee funds a young girl to go through GirlSpeak – for free. Awesome.
WomanSpeak Danville will meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 6:30pm in Alamo.
WHAT MAKES WOMANSPEAK UNIQUE?
For too long, public speaking trainings have fostered a masculine model of what leadership and professionalism looks and feels like.
This can have a detrimental effect on the self-esteem of women and girls who desire to speak up and lead.
They look around at masculine leaders (male and female) and subconsciously think to themselves, “I can’t be a leader because I don’t look or feel like that.” Or, “I have to hide or suppress parts of myself in order to speak up and be taken seriously.” This sparks feelings of self doubt, a lack of valuing the wisdom within, and a resistance to speaking up.
It erodes a woman’s sense of inner freedom to lead and share her mind publicly.
It’s time for a public speaking training that supports women in harnessing the power of their feminine energy, and in being fully who they are, as they stand up to speak, lead and change our world.
WHY IS WOMANSPEAK SO EFFECTIVE?
WomanSpeak Circles are filled with true celebration, support and fun.
The women you share your circle with will always celebrate you and your voice.
We literally help women to re-wire their nervous systems so that speaking up becomes an experience of safety, power, joy and freedom.
At WomanSpeak, we are not looking for what’s “wrong” in your speaking and how to “fix” it. Instead, we look for what is already brilliant and then, using our proven, unique public speaking techniques, we explore how to make it even more amazing, effective, and powerful.
This is a departure from traditional public speaking training programs. And it works. Women feel SAFE to fully be themselves, to be seen and heard, and to speak their truth and share their ideas. Women and their voices blossom in this kind of environment and culture.
The best part about WomanSpeak is that women form wonderful, supportive friendships with other women in their circles.
They have each other’s backs as they are out in the world speaking up in their communities, their work, and on public stages.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO JOIN A WOMANSPEAK CIRCLE?
There is a one-time initiation fee and your monthly membership fee. Your one-time initiation fee covers your set up costs, your Membership Curriculum manual, and your donation to support a young girl attending GirlSpeak! The one-time initiation fee is $75, $145 or $200. Each member chooses her initiation fee which will help sponsor either one, two or three girls to go through GirlSpeak.
Your monthly membership fee of $129 is charged every 30 days. You can cancel at any time and you will not be charged the next month’s fee.

ABOUT YOUR WOMANSPEAK CIRCLE LEADER, YVETTE GIVVIN
I am passionate about bringing women’s voices into the world. My life’s purpose and work is to help women rise to their fullest potential by inspiring them to find and use their voice. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Women, Gender, Spirituality and Social Justice at CIIS. I am bringing my own voice to the world as a Thought Leadership Speaker and Writer focused on Social Justice for Women. After completing KC Baker’s WomanSpeak Foundational Course, Speak Up for your Business Online Course, and working 1-1 with KC to write my own speech I am inspired to bring her work to women in the Bay Area.
As a Certified Integral Life Coach I help women free themselves from their "crazy busy" lives to find more balance, joy and connection to themselves. I've led the "crazy busy" lifestyle and know how painful, lonely and draining it can be on your soul. I believe every woman has a passion, gift and voice to share with the world. My goal is to help you create the space in your life for them to shine. I offer deep listening and hold a compassionate space for you to discover what is holding you back from living fully.
