I hope you all have been well and enjoying the nice weather outside. I'm myself, impatiently waiting for summer to officially get here.
Recently I just passed the test to get my PMP certificate, so .it got me thinking more about moving into a leadership role. What does that really mean to me? I also had Louise Lee (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lclee/) contact me about the same idea and sharing her experience with us all, so it seems like all signs were pointing to meet hosting a meetup on this topic.

Being a leader doesn’t mean you have to be a manager. Anyone, in any role, can be a leader. Please come join the conversation on what leadership means to you, and how to own it within yourself.
Thank you to my employer, Elastic Path for hosting. I’m excited to show them off to all of you. Elastic Path is a "headless" eCommerce system, allowing template-less eCommerce to integrated as middle ware into Enterprise ERP systems. The system is API based and is specifically targeted towards Enterprise Level Organisations. They are also dedicated to Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
Men are welcome. However, I wish to keep the invite as +1 guest format, since I want to ensure this meetup will continue to be a safe space for people to attend and share share their stories.
Doors open at 6:00 for socializing and snacks. Official start will be 6:30, with a bit more mingling to follow.
Hope to see you there!
Please RSVP if you’re coming and kindly update promptly if your plans change.
