"Women Getting Out and Having Fun" - Sorority Sister/Friends
We have created a Sorority Sister/Friends. Here are a group of professional women with varies professional backgrounds who get out for several events to have fun like bowling, theme parties, fine dining, Elegant events, movies, coffee & conversation, Day trips, Spa Day, Camping, Traveling, Volunteering in the community and so much more. Our success is due to active and committed members.
This was created by Damita/Founder of Women Getting Out and Having Fun for Professional women who live within the surrounding Sacramento area who are interested in expanding your circle of friends, that want to create new opportunities, new in town and want to meet new friends, and/or step out of your comfort zone. My job is create the perfect events to bring business women together to socialize, create long lasting friendships and enjoy life to the fullness.
We believe in laughing , feeling alive, and sharing new adventures together and supporting each other along the way.
We are not about numbers here but we are here to build long lasting friendships. We live up to our name. We believe in Getting Out and Having fun.
While developing and maintaining friendships takes time and effort, good friends can:
Improve your mood. Spending time with happy and positive friends can elevate your mood and boost your outlook.
Help you to reach your goals. Whether you're trying to get fit, give up smoking, or otherwise improve your life, encouragement from a friend can really boost your willpower and increase your chances of success.
Reduce your stress and depression. Having an active social life can bolster your immune system and help reduce isolation, a major contributing factor for depression.
Support you through tough times. Even if it's just having someone to share your problems with, friends can help you cope with serious illness, the loss of a job or loved one, the breakup of a relationship, or any other challenges in life.
Support you through good times. Whether it's special events in your life. Promotions, weddings, special gatherings, good news. Friendship is supporting, encouraging and uplifting each other.
Support you as you age. As you age, retirement, illness, and the death of loved ones can often leave you isolated. Having people you can turn to for company and support can provide purpose as you age and be a buffer against depression, disability, hardship and loss.
Boost your self-worth. Friendship is a two-way street, and the "give" side of the give-and-take contributes to your own sense of self-worth. Being there for your friends makes you feel needed and adds purpose to your life.
