Halloween is about joy, storytime and being a community. A time when all ages come together to create and be playful. Neighbourhoods spend weeks creating mini 'Halloween wonderlands' for all to share and enjoy. Halloween can also be a time to celebrate and treasure those that have lived before us and know that death is a part of life. JASMINE HEALY-PAGÁN BEd., ERYT 500, MBSR-T Jasmine is known for her passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping people lead radiant lives. In 1995, Jasmine left Australia solo with a one-way ticket and this was when her intuition became the navigator of her life. As a teacher in many settings for 25 years, Jasmine encourages growth, change, and connection to fuel positive pathways. In 1996, Jasmine discovered the powerful personal development system known as Yoga while she was living and working in Manhattan. After ten years of yoga and meditation study with many teachers, Jasmine commenced training with Shiva Rea in 2007 and became a certified Prana Vinyasa teacher in 2012. Jasmine’s ongoing yoga training and experience extend to sharing yoga with children and teens since 2005 with a special interest in trauma-sensitive and MBSR programs for youth. As a visionary for over twenty years, she has created new businesses in the USA and Australia. As a writer and facilitator, she has developed health and wellbeing programs for over a decade. As a community activist, Jasmine created Sundalah in 2008 to help locals build positive connections and discover the abundance of wellness options available in the Townsville region. Jasmine’s love for commUNITY and positive change is why she has coordinated more than 25 large community events since 2008. These events donated $30,000 to local not-for-profit organisations like Yoga Tools For Schools Inc. which provides wellbeing programs for all ages and professional development training to those working in educational settings. As a truth seeker, Jasmine shares how a life with deeper awareness, meaning, and service brings happiness and fulfillment.
