Join us for a visit to one of the most intriguing places in all of Los Angeles: Peter Lai's “Japanese Cultural Village”. This vast 5,000 square foot space brims with vibrant costumes, tapestries, dolls, kimonos, antiques, ceramics, lanterns, knick-knacks, ephemera and more. In addition to a museum-worthy collection of artifacts, it also contains a theater, a temple, and a tea parlor. According to Eye on LA: "You'll not only marvel at the charming set ups, a mix of antiques and Japanese kitsch, but you can't help but fall in love with the sweet artist who offers tours of his magical world." We will take a guided tour, which includes tea and a Japanese snack, and then have lunch at a nearby restaurant afterward. The cost is $35 which must be paid in advance (so that I can pay him) via Paypal ([masked]), Venmo [masked]), or by check (made to Britain Your Way Tours and mailed to 2456 Corinth Avenue, LA 90064). It is only refundable if the event is cancelled, although it can be transferred to someone else. This event will be posted in several places and is limited to 10 people. You must RSVP no later than Wednesday, February 27th. More details here - LA WEEKLY: https://www.laweekly.com/slideshow/inside-a-secret-japanese-village-hidden-in-an-arts-district-loft-7844860
