The purpose of this group is to unite women and empower their storytelling and lives. We all need hope, inspiration and meaningful, connected relationships, especially when we're dealing with life's big wallops - a job loss, divorce, dating chaos, loss of a loved one, retirement, trauma of any kind, fear of chasing our own big dream, disappointment in our own progress in life, or the diagnosis that completely turns us upside down. So, bring whatever life has served up to you that drags on you, a heart open to receive and connect, and join us.
Women who have a story to share that would help their healing or celebrate their accomplishments; women who want to connect meaningfully with others and hear uplifting stories; and men who want to support the important women in their lives toward their own empowerment and healing are welcome to join (though the storytelling evenings are generally women-only attendance).
At each event (held in different areas or cities), we open the doors at 5:30 pm for registration, sipping and snacking, and meaningful connection. The first storyteller is on at 6:00 pm and will share and interact with the women gathered until 6:45, the second storyteller goes from 6:45 to 7:30 pm; and the final 30 minutes are open to anyone in the audience who has something on her heart to share.
