Finally, a study group for Scala!
Join us for our third meeting. If you were not at the first or second meeting but would still like to attend, please join the Google group to get caught up with setup:
We'll be digging into Scala with some food and fun on April 18th at 6:30 p.m. Kelsey Innis piqued our interest in Scala with her talk How to Learn Functional Programming without Growing a Neckbeard (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOvL6QAxRK4). We’ll meet every Thursday for the next 5 weeks to watch a few Scala videos, bring up any questions about Scala, and do some fun hacking projects.
Kelsey will be around to get everyone up and rarin to go in Scala. If you've got mad Scala and/or functional programming skills and would like to help spread the FP gospel, please drop her a line at firstname.lastname@example.org (email@example.com), she would love the help!
If you have trouble getting in, please use the touch screen by the elevators to find "Lydia Pierce" and reach her cell.
