WWCSF is participating in Hacktoberfest by holding a hackathon to promote and work on open-source projects that help empower women in tech. Everyone who would like to work on this effort is welcome. Feel free to bring your own project, or come help on one of the projects we’re highlighting.

6:30 - 6:45pm: Sign in, grab some snacks and settle in
6:45 - 7:00pm: Introductions & featured open-source projects
7:00 - 8:30pm: Make contributions to open source!

One open-source project WWCode SF has been partnering with is Techtonica - it provides free tech training and job placement for unemployed or underemployed folks, and it’s online curriculum is free. Anyone can help by picking up an issue here:
