Images go beyond AI and deep learning. This meet up will focus on Visual Recognition, which is a form of AI allowing computers to analyze and make sense of the pixels and patterns found in images.

With that in mind, we invite you to WeWork’s office for a night of hands on learning about AI and deep learning. IBM along with Women Who Code will be offering a different experience on differentiating between AI and deep learning, the driving factors leading to the recent explosion in deep learning, and train and analyze our own images using a visual recognition service.

Please make sure to download the Github repo below prior to joining us at the event:
Github repo
The Github repo contains 2 labs:
- one written in a notebook, DeepLearning – Watson Studio (more code heavy)
- one using NodeRed, WVR_Lab (less code)

Speaker will briefly show both as final products and then provide access for you to go through them and ask questions as they come up.
For both, you will need an IBM Cloud account.
