Even though she started university in a different field, in her second year at McGill University, Joanna took a programming class, loved it, and immediately switched into and later graduated from Software Engineering. She also has some fun side projects that she continues to work on, where she gets to experiment with different technologies like AR and machine learning. She’s originally from Calgary and loves rock climbing and skiing.
