Summer is here! Let's go outdoors! Where: Bateau Geneve (

In the July and August meetups, we are gathering on the Bateau Geneve by the lake to enjoy the outdoor view, fresh air, and good company of fabulous Women in Digital! We managed to get a reserved and quiet space on the great Bateau Geneve so we kindly ask you to update your presence at least 24 hours in advance. We noticed unfortunately that many register and do not show up, and this impacts a lot the organization of our meetups.

For July we will have a special guest coming from Sweden, Essy Dahlin, to talk about the state of digital transformation in Sweden. Essy is a Digital Strategy Advisor, who works for Sogeti Sweden.

Topic: The state of digital transformation in Sweden / Best practices from Europe’s most innovative country

Sweden was recently, once again, announced no 1 innovation country in Europe by the European commission. But how does it show in the day-to-day work in government agencies, retail, manufacturing companies, etc.? How do we live up to the expectations and what challenges are we facing? Do we have the prerequisites for enabling innovation, and are we really as gender-balanced as everyone thinks? Interviewed by Taïssa Thierry Chaves, Essy shares her experience from 18 years of working across different industries in Sweden.

About the guest

With a broad background from a variety of industries and roles, Essy consult her clients on digital transformation and innovation strategy. Her entrepreneurial spirit is prominent as she engages in the development of prototypes and new business models. With passion and dedication, she communicates her insights and ideas on stage.
