3 Keys to Transform Trauma: Moving from fear, shame and isolation to PEACE, JOY and FREEDOM

Hello ladies and happy Friday!

I want to take a minute to speak to the theme of TRANSFORMING TRAUMA...

When bad things happen to us --- things that attack our sense of safety, control, power and joy --- how do we overcome and break free of the fear in order to HEAL, FEEL EMPOWERED and BUILD RESILIENCE?

Today in the Facebook group I shared a bit about my own journey of transforming trauma and using it to fuel my purpose rather than cripple my life. In the clip I share about:

1. Grace -- the importance of giving yourself permission to feel what you're feeling and for the process to take as long as it needs to take.
2. Surrender -- the importance of radical acceptance in being able to move through rather than stay stuck in trauma response.
3. Support -- the importance of speaking your truth and asking for support from skilled clinical professionals.

These were three powerful keys that helped me transform my trauma; moving from fear, shame and isolation to PEACE, JOY and FREEDOM, within the last few months.

I share this because my hunch is there may be others of you going through something similar but you cant seem to break free from the feelings of shame, fear and isolation. Please know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE and that it WILL get better.

I'm here for YOU, standing with you in whatever you're currently facing and I created this community specifically so you knew you didn't have to go through life alone. Not only does this apply to you transforming  trauma but transforming your lives in general, into ones of passion, purpose, power and impact!

One thing this past traumatic experience has made clear for me is my deep desire to give more into building communities of impact and supporting others who also want to live lives of sustainable impact. If you're ready to dive into the deep soul searching work required to BE YOUR TRUEST & HIGHEST SELVES, please fill out this brief survey. It takes 3-5min but could be what sets you up for a lifetime of success. I will be using the feedback from what you share to inform a larger calendar of offerings and supports for the coming months.

Lastly, if this theme of transforming trauma spoke to you and you'd be interested in attending an event to learn more from a trained professional, please reach out letting me know or put it in your survey response. If you know any other woman who have been impacted by trauma or who simply are tired of playing small and want to sustain larger impact, please forward this message on to them too.

Warmly,

Akwese
