What we're about

What do you believe and why? Have you ever been asked that question? What answer would you give if you were put on the spot and what are your reasons for those beliefs? Many people in our culture today have not thought deeply enough about what they believe and why they believe things are ‘that way’ and not some other way. In the age of information that we live in people are so accustomed to adopting talking points as truth without giving it too much thought beyond that point. In the process of doing that many people have mindlessly adopted bad ideology and principles that have led to a massive moral decline in our culture. We encourage you to come to this group to learn about such things and ponder them with us. Ultimately, we hope you will find answers to your deepest questions about the world and why it is the way it is. If you are eager to learn and are thirsting for spiritual growth, this will be a great opportunity to gain wisdom and understanding through in-depth study. So, the next question is, what are you waiting for? Will you join us on this pilgrimage?

What is Wrong with the World?

Barnes & Noble

Hello! This will be our first meeting and our objective is going to be rather low key for this discussion. I would like to accomplish plenty of thoughtful discussion during this initial meetup, but I would like to take some time for introductions and discuss topics that you would like to cover going forward. I will give a heads up here that our foundation for these topics is going to come from systematic theology (don’t worry if you are unfamiliar with any of these terms as you will learn along with me as we go). I would like to keep us on track with good theological structures so that we do not become distracted with heresies and false teachings within the Christian theological context. I will help moderate as we go so that our learning is rich in meaningful content and avoids any pious interpretations of scripture. Please bring along a Bible and/or any materials that you wish to use to discuss your Christian (or non-Christian) convictions with the group.
