Join us on Friday August 2nd for a truly mind-blowing performance by East London dance company, Boy Blue, returning to NYC as part of a special encore engagement after their sold out debut here last fall. Plus dinner before the show and a talk-back with company members afterwards. Get tickets & more info here: http://www.womenofculture.org/events/boyblue
Blak Whyte Gray is an electrifying dance-theater work with bold hip-hop choreography and a multilayered score that moves from driving electronics to African-influenced beats. Called “pure physical poetry” by the Stage and “dance with the force of an uprising” by the NY Times, Blak Whyte Gray pulses with physical virtuosity and a fierce political bite.
We will meet at 5:30pm for drinks & apps at Greek restaurant, Ousia and will have the chance to learn more about the performance and its creation during a talk-back with Choreographer Kenrick “H2O” Sandy and dancer Margo Jefferson after the show.
All tickets include a seat with the group in row M of the Orchestra. Full experience tickets include shared appetizers + 1 glass of wine or beer per person. Any additional food or drink can be purchased separately at the restaurant.
