If you were a good player in high school and are out of shape, we are probably a good group for you to join.
If you played in college but aren't what you used to be and would like something more laid-back, come check us out.
We welcome more advanced players who want to get more time on the ball than in a quicker game--as long as you contribute to your whole team's passing game as much as you take. (In other words, don't be a ball hog.)
If you are not sure if your skill level matches our group, come for a tryout and see if you are a good fit. We are trying to find a balance for skilled players who can't do competitive leagues (injuries, fitness levels, etc), but find it frustrating to play with people who do not have the skills or experience to maintain possession.
We start with a few minutes of skills practice (sometimes) and then divide the teams evenly based on who shows up. We usually play three 20 minute games and then everyone is invited to the pub to discover that the sweaty jerks they have grown to hate on the field are actually cool people with interesting things to say.
