Players of all experience levels are welcome and are encouraged to take part in the inclusive, fun, and competitive culture of Black Ice Women's Rugby. In recent years, rugby has become one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, with women contributing the largest growing segment. Black Ice Rugby is committed to advancing the sport by creating an inclusive and competitive environment focused on athletic development. Approximately fifty women make up the core of Black Ice Rugby––ranging from 18 to 40-years-old. This diverse group draws in networks ranging from competitive athletes to local businesses to active community members.
