The Merkaba and a Meditation to Activate/Remember
The sacred Merkaba is a rotating field of light energy which has the potential to carry the body and spirit from one world to another. Beliefs and practices of the Merkaba come from various cultures and spiritual/religious practices around the world, including Egyptian, Zulu, Hebrew. It is sometimes spelled Mer-Ka-Ba (Egyptian), Merkabah, or Merkavah (Hebrew).
According to Drunvalo Melchizedek, in Egyptian, it is three words Mer Ka Ba. Mer: special body of rotating light. Ba: spirit, usually human spirit. Ka: interpretation of reality, usually human body. The Merkaba is a potential of sacred geometric fields of light and is created through consciousness.
The meditation practice we will explore is a conscious effort to activate or remember our Merkaba field. The practice can be used in various ways including meeting the higher self, a path to ascension, and programmed/intentional Merkaba fields.
A shamanic drum journey will follow the discussion to allow each woman to work on her own issues with her Spirit guides. Please dress comfortably, and feel free to bring drums, rattles or other instruments, along with a journal for recording any insights received on your journey. Also feel free to bring an item to put on the altar during our circle.
Doors open at 7:00 pm and close at 7:30 pm, and ends at 10:00 pm. Please RSVP to ensure your space. Suggested donation of $10.00 per person to cover the space rental. Come join us for this powerful exploration!
Note: We are meeting at Soma Vida for this circle since ACL Fest prevents us from being at Casa de Luz. Soma Vida has fewer available parking spaces, so you might want to consider carpooling with friends!
