Lunch cancellation policy 5-09

This site has proven to be the most effective in managing WSBA events, and provide communication for the events for all members of WSBA. Communication pertaining to the events is limited to this site, and forwarded to those who have RSVP "YES" for the event. This also applies to cancellation for the event. It is the responsibility of the WSBA member to review this site for updates on upcoming events.

Any member that has not RSVP for an event, must then check the CALENDAR for the current status of the event.

Please note the WSBA cancellation policy. A reminder of this policy will be sent periodically to the members.

  • RSVPs will be checked the day before the scheduled lunch.
  • Any lunch with RSVPs less than 3 is subject to cancellation.
  • Cancellation will be made by 12 am midnight the day of the lunch.
  • An email will be sent from this site to those who have RSVP "YES"
  • The calendar locate on this site will reflect this cancellation.
  • A call will be made to the restaurant by the lunch hostess

RSVPs are to be made at MeetUp.com or wsba.biz by 10:30 am the day of the lunch to be considered as a RSVP. WSBA recommends that that members and guests also check the current status of the lunch if the RSVP drops below 4 by checking the calendar on this site. This calendar can be viewed by WSBA members and non members.

RSVPs provide the following to those that are involved in putting these lunches together:

  • an accurate count to the restaurant
  • an accurate count to the hostess
  • an accurate count to the members attending for more effective networking

To make sure that you are always updated with the happenings of the event, please make sure to list your RSVP. If you have informed someone about our lunches, please remind the to go to the site and RSVP. You may list them as your guest under your RSVP. These efforts will provide accurate information to all those participating in our events.

I thank you for your efforts and participation!
